Learning outcomes

After participating in this Mini Masterclass, learners will be able to:


  • Outline the currently recognized definitions of prolonged COVID symptoms and long COVID.
  • Define the current understanding of the pathophysiology of long COVID.
  • Describe some of the common clinical presentations of long COVID.
  • Recognize both the physical and mental health impact of long COVID.
  • Indicate an understanding of the psychosocial effects of long COVID
  • Translate Long-COVID symptoms and management in a means that patients can readily understand
