After participating in the Mini Masterclasses, learners will be able to:

  • Recognize the rationale for mRNA-based vaccines and considerations for their design
  • Discuss the effectiveness of mRNA-based vaccines to manage respiratory viral diseases based on clinical experiences with COVID-19 vaccines
  • Describe recent developments in the use of the mRNA platform to develop prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines for respiratory diseases
  • Translate mRNA platform technology in a means that patients can readily understand
